The Anglian Gateway Teaching School Alliance is a truly cross-phase, collaborative alliance, centred in the Bottisham, Burwell and Soham locality and working North/North East into Cambridgeshire and Suffolk. Our catchment is largely rural, reflecting different socio-economic contexts and areas of significant rural deprivation.
Established in April 2013, the Anglian Gateway Teaching School Alliance is a growing network of schools from a widespread area, representing every phase of our education system, from early years to year 13.
We are committed to using the best practice of our outstanding leaders and teachers to successfully deliver these six strands.
The development of training teachers in this crucial initial stage of their professional development and engaging in high-quality, tailored CPD and leadership training, are at the heart of what we do.
Classroom-based research and development offers a wealth of opportunities to all teachers, whatever their career stage.
School to school support, including the designation and brokering of System Leaders of Education, allows us to identify and co-ordinate the expertise and outstanding practice within our growing alliance.
The more diverse our workforce, the better able we are to respond to and reflect the learning community that is the Anglian Gateway Teaching School Alliance. We recognise that in order to achieve this we need to create a working and learning environment that enables all of our employees to thrive and achieve their full potential. We value and respect every individual's unique contribution to the shared aims of the Anglian Gateway Teaching School Alliance and try to ensure that no one group or individual is unlawfully disadvantaged.
