The University of Cambridge Primary School is committed to exemplary teaching and learning for children. In its approach to learning, it aims to be creative, bold, free thinking and rigorous. The achievement of the school's learning outcomes will be underpinned by a commitment to the values of excellence, equity and learner empowerment.
Fordham Church of England Primary is a small and friendly school. We have a caring, family atmosphere with excellent standards of education.
Our aim is to maximise the life chances of every child in our care from an intellectual, emotional, physical and spiritual perspective. Our school has a distinguished record in producing highly confident, motivated and positive pupils and our target is to ensure that this success continues.
Haslingfield Endowed Primary School is a community that values giving children opportunities to progress and flourish. We aim to provide children with a stimulating environment to build confidence and experience success.
It is our aim to establish an open and friendly school, in which parents are welcome and valued as partners in children’s learning. As a community school we will strive to achieve a sense of ‘family’ where everyone feels, happy, safe and secure.
At Burwell Village College Primary School we strive to achieve a balance between high academic standards and the all round development of the children in our care. To this end, we provide a broad and balanced education, carefully tailored to deliver the requirements of the National Curriculum, whilst meeting the needs of all of our pupils. In addition, we offer a growing number of opportunities for children to develop individual talents outside the classroom.
I would like to introduce myself as Wayne Cooper, the Headteacher for Spring Meadow Infant and Nursery School. We believe that it is enjoyment in the first years at school which shapes children's attitudes to learning for life. The school motto "Nurtured we grow" encapsulates the supportive, caring ethos of our school community. My vision is, with your help, to build on the successful foundation the school already has, and together aim to move the school to outstanding. I am committed to providing the very best in terms of education; both through provision and outcomes for the children at Spring Meadow. I hope as you look through our website you will find it informative and that it will give you an insight into the caring, happy school Spring Meadow is. We offer lots of extra curricular activities in clubs at lunchtime and after school.
The atmosphere within the school is calm, welcoming and feels like each stakeholder is part of one large family. Whether you are a child, a parent, a community member or visitor to the school, we aim to provide a stimulating and structured environment where everyone feels valued and is able to exceed expectations.
We provide an inclusive environment where we value each child and aim to develop confident and happy children. We provide an exciting and active curriculum to inspire our children to become enthusiastic, lifelong learners. In addition, we offer a growing number of opportunities for children to develop individual talents outside the classroom. We look forward to welcoming you to Bottisham Primary School.
Teversham has a distinctive welcoming ethos in a secure and peaceful atmosphere. They believe that this has been achieved through strong inclusive Christian ethos, high standards of behaviour and a nurturing, friendly atmosphere that welcomes children from all cultures and home situations whatever their needs
St Bede’s Inter-Church School is very special, being the only Christian secondary school within the county of Cambridgeshire. Our foundation is jointly Anglican and Roman Catholic, so we enjoy the support of both the diocese of Ely and East Anglia. Our students choose to travel from throughout the county to study at St Bede’s and we are delighted by the progress they make in their learning with us. In 2014, 72% of students achieved 5 or more GCSEs at grades A*-C with English and mathematics on their first entry, which places St Bede’s within the top three Cambridgeshire schools based upon the government’s preferred measure of school performance. High expectations, the continual pursuit of excellence and an extremely talented and dedicated staff contribute to this success. Visitors to St Bede’s often remark on the strength of relationships between staff and students; this is very important to us. We know that confident, happy children find it easier to take risks in their learning, leading to faster progress.
Welcome to Soham Village College. As a school we aim to achieve, 'Excellence with Care' in all that we do. High expectations are central to this: high expectations of academic and creative achievements and high expectations of students' appearance and behaviour. When they leave the College we hope that they are confident individuals equipped to face the challenges of further education or employment.
Our designation as a teaching school opens a new and exciting chapter in the life of an ambitious and aspirational College. It offers us the opportunity to build on our successes and to develop existing and new partnerships with schools and organisations that share our collaborative approach and commitment to improving the life chances of the children and young people in this area of the country.
We are delighted to be part of an exciting new chapter in education in our area. As a National Support School we have for a number of years been providing assistance to schools and we are looking forward to extending this work by becoming a Teaching School.
Our school is a busy and vibrant place where we encourage children to flourish across the curriculum. Our expectations are high and the standard of care is outstanding. Staff are very committed to providing the best for the children.
